As president of the Kansas Association of Educational Office
Professionals, I would like to extend my personal invitation
for you to join us at the Holiday Inn in Salina on April 3-5,
2008 , for our Spring Conference/Workshop. Classes have been
planned that will help us continue to grow professionally
and personally. The business meeting will give you an opportunity
to share ideas and express concerns. Become involved and get
the most out of your association. Be an,

Denise Shockey, Workshop Chairperson and Debora Jensen, Registrar,
are busy preparing to make this an exiting, productive and
fun workshop. A special "thank you" to Denise, Debora,
and Charlotte Zeller, Workshop Coordinator, for all their
hard work. Please do your part to help make this a successful
conference. Take time to read this brochure and return the
registration form without delay. Share your brochure with
a co-worker and invite them to attend with you. Encourage

Who Should Attend the Conference/Workshop...
We invite anyone employed as an educational office professional
in educational offices in Kansas or in organizations concerned
with education to attend this conference/workshop. It is a
great time for learning and meeting with others in our profession.
I look forward to seeing current members, retired members,
and office professionals from across the state. If we can

One-Day Attendees
If you cannot attend the entire conference, you are encouraged
to attend the sessions on Friday for information, service,
recognition and fellowship. Enjoy the day while you attend
the workshop and the lunch. |

March 28, 2008 to receive the group
rate of $69.00 plus tax per room (up to 4
per room).

Retiree's Tour
In the morning, the retirees will be visiting
the Smokey Hill Valley Vineyard and Winery. During this
activity, we will also visit the gift shop and if time permits
do some wine tasting. The cost of the wine tasting will
be $3.00 per person.
After lunch, the group will take a tour to the
Smokey Hill Museum. this will be a self-guided tour
with not cost to us.

Professional Standards
Program
Members of KAEOP are encouraged to take advantage of the PSP
program and work toward certification. For further information,
please contact Theresa Cote, (785) 296-2303 or tcote@ksde.org.
The Country Store
The KAEOP Country Store will be open for business. Donations
will be accepted for the baskets from local affiliates. Proceeds
from the Country Store support scholarships given through
KAEOP for members and students across Kansas. Drawings for
affiliates baskets will be held following the General Business
Meeting on Saturday morning. Many other items will be for
sale in the Country Store. Chrissy Powell and Susan Owens
will be happy to assist you.
First Timers
First time conference attendees often wonder "why should
I attend?" This is a wonderful opportunity to network
with office professionals from across the state of Kansas.
It is a great time for learning and meeting with others in
our profession.

The Kansas Association of Educational Office Professionals
and their officers assume NO responsibility for any personal
injuries or damage to property incurred by a member or guest
of said group engaged in any association sponsored activity.
Open House
The theme for Open House is "Bunco."
Come join in the fun of this great dice game. Everyone
is welcome to join in the fun!
School Supplies
School supplies will also be collected for
Wichita Public Schools Early Childhood Programs. Please bring
your school supplies to the Friday luncheon.
