PSP
A Certification
Program for Educational Office Professionals
The Professional Standards Program (PSP) is a voluntary program
established by the National Association of Educational Office
Professionals (NAEOP) to encourage educational office professionals
to grow professionally.
The program is designed as a series of eight levels. The
awarding of a certificate based on education, experience,
and professional activity recognizes achievement in the program.
Classes offered at KAEOP conferences twice a year are approved
by NAEOP and can be used toward PSP certification. KAEOP members
may apply to NAEOP for admission to the Professional Standards
Program after NAEOP membership has been established.
The 07-08 Fall Conference workshop will focus on growth
in the area of wellness. The presenter will be Judi McKinney,
a school nurse from Kinsley-Offerle USD 347. The morning session
will be spent refreshing or learning first aid skills and
the afternoon will be focused on CPR.
Questions concerning KAEOP curriculum may be directed to
Judy Shepard, Curriculum Chairman at jshepard@usd347.net.
